About Ali-Al Wardi
Ali Al-Wardi (1913–1995) was a pioneering Iraqi sociologist and one of the most influential thinkers in modern Arab social thought. Through his studies of Iraqi society, history, and culture, he introduced new sociological perspectives that examined the tension between moral ideals and lived social reality, helping to establish modern sociology in Iraq and the wider Arab world.
